Mez558 Posted April 2, 2016 Posted April 2, 2016 Have a (mostly) new PC, same GTX970 I was using before, with a fresh install of everything. Don't have many mods installed atm but the game seems to start and run ok until I try to install the EBN files. Even after only copying the d3d9.dll and ebnhost.exe over the game will crash at the moment of showing the skyrim logo, with Realvision installed it doesn't much further than the screen flicking black then crash. There is hardly anything installed in the way of mods but without the EBN files everything appears to be working fine. I've used this ENB on a few installs before and never had this issue, I am concerned that it is hardware related but other games seem to be running ok. Currently doing a clean install of nvidia drivers but at a loss as to why this does not work on this install. Hoping I've missed something stupid that someone will be able to point out. Resolved - Driver issue, not sure if it was me failing to notice I hadn't disabled everything or the old driver still having something active, like AA, but with latest driver and everything disabled that should be it now works
carolight Posted April 2, 2016 Posted April 2, 2016 It could be the Windows 10, SweetFx & Nvidia Driver error, try copying dxgi.dll from C:>Windows/System 32 to your Skyrim folder (Overwrite when asked) back up before doing so.
