Guest Posted May 29, 2012 Posted May 29, 2012 I haven't really played much of Oblivion since I started with Skyrim first but the few quests I did were already better than most in Skyrim.  The whole story was way more interesting  The NPCs and the citys felt more alive  The spell system and the fact that your pants weren't attached to your chest plate.  How much easier modding was. Not only creating mods but Oblivion also seems to be less "bitchy" about mods (My Skyrim is pretty much crashing 24/7 and I don't even have mods that could conflict)  A majority of things were better in Oblivion. The only things that are better in Skyrim are the combat system (even tho you can't cast spells with weapons equipped it feels smoother, looks better and has a bit more variety than: hit-block-hit-block) and it's graphics (which is pretty obvious because Oblivion is around 6 years old)
deltadeath93 Posted June 18, 2012 Posted June 18, 2012 i miss lovers ,claudias little secret mod ,estrus and roper mod, sexy walk, facial expressions, more emotional npc's, the infamy/renown system, better side quests, more random encounters than skyrim i mean in oblivion ya could be walking down a road and poof bandits attack you in skyrim you have to go to a damn tower or cave to find them, and the race mods
Loveryus Posted June 18, 2012 Posted June 18, 2012 I miss the Arena, Cursed Armor, Estrus, Chain Beasts, the beautiful warmth of the many landscapes, the bbb armors, the prettier women, the better communication system, the music, the bandits, "rapes", midas magic (as good as it was), the cheesy guards and many, many other mods allowing me to have a virtual harem. lol -.-
