mishtasingh Posted April 1, 2016 Posted April 1, 2016 You meet Dogmeat at the Red Rocket Truck Stop. Red Rocket is also a term used in the South Park episode, "Proper Condom Use" South Park's definition of it is, well, beating the dog's meat, so, could this be a reference to South Park, or am I just a dirty minded guy? XD
Cozza Posted April 1, 2016 Posted April 1, 2016 I'm accully really sad theres no family guy reference. Episode from season 1 or 2 the world gets destroyed in a nuclear apocalypse and they goto a twinkle factory in Natick. I just wanted to see a family of skeletons with a note saying "Theres no twinkie factory!!!!!!"

XD Red rocket was introduced in Fallout 3 as for dogmeat he exists since the inception of the serie. I am not saying that associating the 2 could not be inspired by this south park episode but then if anything it would just be red rocket (as the episode you mention appear to predate Fallout 3) and if it was the case the dogmeat of fallout 3 would have been more likely to be the one found on a red rocket station.
Idocrase Posted April 10, 2016 Posted April 10, 2016 I'm still looking for the Simpsons. There was an episode of them that ended with the world destroyed and the melody from 'I don't want to set the world on fire' playing. Seriously no-one else in my house got the reference.
