Cock Sucker Posted March 25, 2016 Posted March 25, 2016 I wanted to make a few of my followers like serana have bigger boobs >.< her weight being low means she's got small perky boobs, but I wanted hers and a few others like mine weight 100 unpb sized. tried setnpcweight 100 which "works" but I got a different colour face >.< tried with resurrect = no change tried it with disable / enable = horrid neck seam >.< tried recycleactor / moveto player = neck seam again. is there a way to fix the neck seam or is it a lost cause? :/
Anatriax Posted March 25, 2016 Posted March 25, 2016 Open Creation Kit. Find the NPC you want to edit.Change their weight in Creation Kit. Export the data (F4, I believe).Save a new .esp file with the edited weights, so you don't have to go back and make the edits again.Upload the .esp and share with everyone else (after verifying that it's bug free).

I knew it was something tied to F4. And if this doesn't fix it? I'm not sure what to tell you. This is a common bug when editing NPC weights, and this is the known and accepted fix through the community abroad (no matter which forum you go to, you'll likely get the same answer.)

RW311 Posted March 25, 2016 Posted March 25, 2016 Wierd texture block on head is caused by using custom textures in data\textures\actor\characterassets\tintmasks, to work around this you need to rename that tintmaks folder before you load ck and create any facegendata (ctrl f4) thx for noticing that anatriax. I think there is another way to create facegen because many custom followers have custom textures on them but I have never looked into it.

Open up creation kit. Make the edits to the NPC that you want to make. Export FaceGenData (CTRL+F4), then save the work as a .esp. You SHOULD do only one NPC at a time, but you CAN do multple NPCs per .esp file, by saving, closing CK, re-opening CK, loading the created .esp as the ACTIVE .esp, and choosing a new NPC, repeating the process until all NPCs you want to edit are completed. Is it a pain in the ass? yeah kinda... but it's well worth it in the end. Especially if you manage to make a quality plugin that say ... edits those specific NPCs to use a custom hair, like from KS Hairdos. --If you do this for a lot of NPCs? People here, on Nexus, and on a few other sites will probably go NUTS... because the only current mod that changes NPCs hairs is broken, because the mod author didn't export FaceGenData. -- just a tip, if you wanna make a simple mod that will be a hit --

RW311 Posted March 26, 2016 Posted March 26, 2016 It won't show the weight changes you made in an esp if you have an existing save of that npc because the weight is part of the save, the only thing that will update is face morphs, body/face textures, and hair changes. Just be sure to run the facegen if you make any of those changes, well hair doesn't usually matter but it depends.
Cock Sucker Posted March 26, 2016 Author Posted March 26, 2016 Couldn't you use the racemenu bodygen randomizer? for npc's? sorry im new at modding npc's >.< @rpw0311 yea I figured that when I have to manually do it >.< but technically starting a new game would make the changes automatically right? i'll test a new game later on >.<
Yuuen Posted March 28, 2016 Posted March 28, 2016 It's an addon for Racemenu, I don't remember if it comes with it or not. I'll grab the info from the page. There is now new syntax to the previous feature to allow randomization of all actors of a particular gender. To setup an initial BodyGen file you need to create two ini files at:meshes/actors/character/BodyGenData/%MOD_FILENAME_WITH_EXT%/morphs.initemplates.iniThe templates file outlines BodyMorphs by nameHere is a sample:Sevenbase=7B High@1.0 | 7B Bombshell High@1.0 | 7B Natural High@1.0 | 7B Cleavage High@1.0 | 7B Bcup High@1.0Breasts=BreastSH@1.0 | BreastSSH@2.0, Breast@1.0, BreastCleavage@0.1:1.0, BreastGravity@0.1:1.0The morphs file defines what morphs should be available to what ActorBases, here is an example:Skyrim.esm|F62F0=Sevenbase,BreastsFor the new All feature, this would say:All|Female=Sevenbase,BreastsMake sure you have empty new lines at the end of your ini files. If you have explicit overrides in other mods they will overwrite by load order, so if you have all in an earlier mod, then have one explicit in a later mod, the ActorBase will use the later setting. Link: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/29624/? Dunno why it's doing this "email protected" stuff for. Yup, the feature itself is included, you just gotta make those config files and that should do it, as far as I know.
