Head Disconnected / Neck Seam?

So, I noticed something really weird: 

The player character doesn't have any issues like the screenshots I will post: the body is 100% complete and seam-free.
 

Female NPCs, however, have this strange seam on their necks.

•Armor and in-game texture changes don't remove it.

•Cloning the player character's appearance on the NPC won't remove it

 

Male NPCs don't have the seam, but their heads won't become bloodies and neither will their necks just like the female.
