Vitriks Posted March 22, 2016 Posted March 22, 2016 I was using this tutorial where you need to export fbx from maya to nif and do the UVW XForm Flip. But for some reason when I open FBX in 3ds max, then save it as nif, I can't import new nif file. I get bad allocation error. UPD Any FBX I took from Maya and Exportet it in 3ds max to nif get the error "Premature end of stream" when I'm importing that nif again to the 3ds max. tempfbx.rartest5.nif
ousnius Posted March 22, 2016 Posted March 22, 2016 This isn't answering your question, but the new version of Outfit Studio has a UV inversion feature now, in case it is involved in your workflow.

Is there some sort of guide how to use UV inversion in outfit studio. Are you using Maya or work only in 3DS max?
ousnius Posted March 22, 2016 Posted March 22, 2016 Neither actually. I'm more or less just doing the programming/using OS and helping others use it. To invert UVs you simply load the NIF/OBJ, right-click the shapes to the right and choose "UV -> Invert X/Y".
Vitriks Posted March 22, 2016 Author Posted March 22, 2016 Well 3ds Max is not working form me. Even when I import-> export something from the game, it's not working properly. So I stick with Maya for now. Also UV -> Invert X/Y works. My bad. I think I know where is my problem. During export I was selecting Skyrim profile. But now in new version we need to select Fallout.
