We got another Bodyslide Armor' date=' the Schwertleite Set http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/19665

Looks like I spoke too soon. I don't see the requisite bodyslide files in the download so I think the author got confused between ingame weight slide and Caliente's bodyslide.

We need to get the word out that those two things are VERY different.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I heard that "Bodyslide" works on outfits as well as the body model for CBBE.

Is that true?

I currently have CHSBHC(?) installed with the clothing mods for that body style. I'd like to modify the armors to be less huge and...

Bah, If Bodyslide will work with armors....I guess I just need to install CBBE and Bodyslide and set my MAX/MIN bodyshape parameters then set my Armor/clothing parameters and be done with it....lol.

It only works with armor/clothing that's been adapted to bodyslide. The list of compatible mods can be found at the beginning of this topic. While bodyslide does support BBP, unless the armors have been converted to use both, you will get larger breasts when equipping CHSBHC armors as they use the default CHSBHC skeleton.

Just a tiny correction...

Unless you have some multi-skeleton mod that I'm unaware of, all bodies/outfits will use the same skeleton - with different effects depending on whether the mesh is weighted to use use the breast bones or not. If an outfit is correctly weighted to the breast bones, then it has BBP support.

The different size issue only means that an outfit uses the default size of the respective outfit mod. Only outfits that are installed by using Bodyslide will look the same as a Bodyslide-made body (and only if the same preset is used for both).

Thanks for the correction.

I just wanted to point out that, "Neo Oriental Dress" is bodyslide compatible now. It is used as the example in Calientes Bodyslide Tutorial. I couldn't get through the blender parts of the tutorial but I was able to use the files included with the tutorial to enable bodyslide support.

So anyway if you want those outfits just make sure you have them installed and grab the bodyslide related folders from the, "Using Slidermaker Tutorial"

I'll update my post. Thanks! I saw this, but I guess I forgot! I'll put it as a note under the tutorial section since there isn't a clear download link for it that I know of.

Rats, that stinks. I was hoping that the CBBE body + Bodyslide worked like this:

NPC 1 has big breasts.

NPC 2 has medium/average breasts.

Take outfit from NPC2, place outfit on NPC1...bodyslide outfit automatically upscales to fit the larger breasts of NPC 1.

Ah well...so much for wild wishes.

:shy:

Well, that would be real magic wouldn't it?

If the game designer decides to, there are obviously ways to implement in-game body sliders that automatically scales outfits correctly. I'm just guessing here, but the most common way is probably by modifying the skeleton, ie move the bones - the points that the meshes are weighted to.

However, another way could be to implement a combination of something like Bodyslide + a better version of my slider conversion script, to automatically generate slider data for newly installed outfits.

Perhaps someone with more insight could tell what system they use in games such as Sims 3 (which supports user-installed sliders).

I thought it would be nice to create a list of all the bodyslide armors and clothes out there since they are so rare' date=' yet so wonderful.

Umm, does anyone know what the Japs call bodyslide?

I'm asking because most probably they've got a whole library of mods and we just don't know it yet

Yay the Soldier pack is out :)

And now it comes with CB++ support. Furthermore, pretty much all of Killerkeos skimpy pack has been converted, except the Dawnguard ones. Should be done soon enough.

@vsTerminus and shadowviper1229:
