I thought it would be nice to create a list of all the bodyslide armors and clothes out there since they are so rare, yet so wonderful.

If anyone knows of more, please link!

Thanks for the list, kinda annoyed that these CBBE modders make such awesome clothing and yet they don't take the time to utitlize the full CBBE body weight slider.

Thanks. Can't believe I have been able to miss this thread and Caliente's Tera armors for this long. I hope this thread will be kept updated, could be very useful for getting more outfits ported to CB++.

 

Note that Lustrianna's Adamantine and Tribal is no longer available.

 

@Evilsage: Just a tip. I noticed you posted a direct link to LL at Nexus which could get you in trouble. You may want to edit that. Instead of direct links, recommending google "Bodyslide CB++" or "bodyslide extra" works well.

No problem! I do intend to keep this updated, though I haven't found any new bodyslide armors yet :(

 

It would be nice if lustrianna would convert some of his/her other armors.

 

Note that Lustrianna's Adamantine and Tribal is no longer available.

Anyone here still got the Bodyslide option for the Adamatine and Tribal clothes.

Yeah I noticed they got taken down the other day. Unfortunately I deleted them out of my mod manager! (which is why I went looking for them again in the first place)

 

If you've seen them, they are basically just re-textures of the "LustDesign - Dovahkiin Mercenary Gear", so they aren't super unique.

 

I'll update the main post to reflect.

And thanks madderoftime and shadowviper1229. If someone wants to add those to something like a mediafire link with the meshes and textures as well, that would be awesome.

 

EDIT:

Actually the "trilight" armor isn't true bodyslide after DLing and looking at it, so I've removed it. The author just means that you can use the showracemenu weight slider and have it actually expand the armor.

It does look very nice.

 

It's unfortunate though that the author seemed to have started in the wrong end, and possibly doesn't grasp how the ingame weight slider works (not so different from Bodyslide, but using compatible target instead of vertex deltas). I would hope that anyone intending to eventually do a Bodyslide port would understand this procedure:

 

1. to start by shaping the outfit to the source, i.e. CalienteBody.nif or possibly ShoulderTweak

2. reshape the outfit for these five slider shapes: Breasts1, Butt1, Waist, Legs, Arms

3. now you have the low weight mesh (the _0.nif) for free

4. continue with the other sliders (six or more)

Hey there, I'm very enthusiastic about your body slider expansion project and the body slide conversion scripts. As a programmer myself I knew when Caliente published the Body Slider tool, it would be just a question of time until someone come up with a project such as this. I trust with some more development, your scripts will create perfect body slides on the fly and then my friend we will have a game customizable as we never before had! Keep up the good work!

 

As a side note, do we have a body slider request thread here already? We should have one!

Uhm no, not quite. There are some ideas not yet implemented that could improve things, but I very much doubt that converted BSDs could be as good as hand-crafted ones. And even hand-crafted outfit sliders will have clipping problems when combined, especially at large proportions. Still with dozens of sliders and potentially hundreds of outfits, slider conversion is pretty much required.

 

It's funny though... when googling around some week ago, I found a nifscope related thread where someone already last year had suggested something very similar to what my script does. It's strange how people unknowingly can come up with similar ideas.

Hello,

 

Could anyone point me towards a tutorial on installing CBBE with physics? I have used UNP for a long time and am thinking of using CBBE as a change. Now, there are just so many variations of CBBE that ive seen. Theres Bodyslide, CHSCBP (i think they are different but CBBE and CHSC are just cross referenced so much that i dont even know which is which) and theres BBB and BBP physics skeletons.

 

I just dont know which ones to use, how everything works and what the physics animated skeletons will do.

For example: If i wanted to add breats and butt physics to my current standard UNP body, will i just need to insert skeleton nifs into the character assets folder? Is the skeleton mesh simply applicable to all body types?

 

Or does a specific BBP mesh only work with a specific body type? (like CBBE)

EDIT: Does body slide apply your custom body to all female characters or is it player specific? From what ive read in the readme's, and from what i understand, the left and right panels of bodyslide define the smallest and largest body size. IF it is applied across all females, will all female characters have a body size somewhere between the custom small and large sizes?

 

 

Any guidance would be appreciated.

Here is how I do it:

 

1) install chsbhc

2) install cbbe and let it overwrite everything

3) run bodyslide

 

That's it.

 

Bodyslide is just for CBBE, though I think there is a UNP version?

There is a 'UNP' set of body slide files for Caliente's Body slide but the last time I tried working with them they didn't work very well and had a very small number of sliders. The files may have been updated since I last tried them but I wasn't very encouraged with the one I tried. Just an FYI

Just for the record, the first batch of Killer Keos skimpy armor pack converted to Bodyslide and CB++, is available in the CB++ thread. At this point, not sure if or when I'll find time to convert more.

Thanks for the heads up stuffed_bunny. Looks like support is out for the Schwertleite Set too. I'll update my page.

 

EDIT:

I spoke to soon about the Schwertleite Set. "with Body Slider support" didn't mean full bodyslide support. :(

 

Though on a positive note, the Shredded Triss guy updated his nexus thread saying:

Hey everyone, I finally got some time to work more on this and just in time it seems as Caliente released his tutorial for bodyslider this last week. So I am currently working my way through the tutorial to make this set bodyslideable. Thank you as always for your patience and support and for those that don't know this update will allow you to create any body shape variation you want and, if it goes how I hope it will, you should be able to use BBP if you so choose. More to follow, wish me luck ;-)
