Hooves

I found a modder's resource mod on the nexus that basically made Alduin's feet into a pair of boots. What I want is exactly like that, except using horse hooves. Primarily it's for a role play character I'm working on, but it could be used for any character, especially if you like pony play, or Satyrs or Centaurs.

I would really appreciate it if someone could whip these up, not forgetting the ankle model so that it looks like the hooves are actually connected, as opposed to the character's dismembered body hovering over a pair of haunted hooves.

Basically this, but hooves instead

This was a problem to create in Oblivion and I doubt it'd be much easier in Skyrim. :\

But if someone does make 'em' date=' it'll be awesome.

chopping up the horse model and using that already perfectly shaped hoof along with it's already usable and skinnable uvmap sounds pretty easy. Just making sure that the skeleton isn't modified, and that the ankle is properly sized seems to be the trick. The only reason I haven't already done it is because I have no understanding of NifScope and I'm at a beginner level with blender. I used to make models for UT2k4, but that was an entirely different system, and I lost my old free version of Maya. I tried the new Maya, it is completely different from what I remember, so that's out.

If you only do the feet, it'll look silly. And it won't fit with all of the vanilla clothing. That was the problem in Oblivion, and I'm sure the same applies here.

I'm sure murphy's law will provide for whatever smooth ride lies ahead. Still, My request stands, because of my character. He's a biped tiger with ram horns and horse hooves. I've managed the horns using the CK, but I don't have the hooves.

If someone could just rig up the hooves as boots, along with a body mesh for the calf, like the regular shoes have, I could texture it and set it up right myself. I'm slowly learning Blender, but I have yet to find an idiot-level guide to using NifScope.

If I was doing it, I would re-texture everything from the knees down, or at least mid way up, with hide and not just change the feet. The hoofs would be re-scaled to fit the character.

An alternative would be to make a pony boot like this and have it raise the player model up a little:

There would be one way of doing it right there, using the high heel mod and making a pair of hooves that way, and the textures could be blended into the body model by using an alpha mask in the texture.

You would defiantly need to make this its own race or something because for it to look right you would need a whole new skeleton, with its own animations. otherwise the hoofs wont look right. The "foot" would have to be elongated, and it would have to connect to a shin that is shorter than normal. and that could connect to the thigh. This of course if you are talking about having it look much like the Draenei from world of warcraft, with I think would be the most natural look. But if you are content with a kind of "hoof-toed" human then it would not be that hard. You could just make a "hoof-shoe" This I believe would be the best idea in terms of compatibility and supportability

I have an image of what I'm looking for. It's kind of graphic, but I figure not many would mind on this site.:D

I don't need the penis, but it would be nice ;)

I'm more interested in the hooves at the moment.

There's not any reason why you couldn't simply morph the body mesh into the hoof, replacing the toe, that way your skin would already match the hoof and blend pretty well. And it would be a simple matter to texture it as well. While I'm at it, could I trouble someone to add a little tuft of hair to the end of the Khajiit tail as well? Like that of a lion's?

Yes I'm the author of the mod in the OP. Unfortunately, I've come up with no satisfactory way to blend the mesh with the body, so there. You might also take a look at some of the creatures in Skyrim's Monster mod to see how it's done.

Well I am just newbie around here, but anyway I had this simple idea for hoof shoe.

Only make the hoof part, hide model's toes within it and lift model's ankle/ heel off the ground, adjust the angle properly and make sure there is no conflict with model knee and calf while it's raised. I know this sound's crazy and would look hilarious, but this way it would be like human feet has grown hoof.

If you take a look at horse hoof anatomy, they have grown their hooves around their toes.

I hope this give's another perspective for hoof shoes :).
