I wouldn't call myself new since I have been able to get lovers lab working just fine after about 5 or more re-installs. I had to recently wipe my computer, and I am having to re-install many of my games. Anyway on to the problem at hand. I installed some bodies and beatification mods correctly and have been trying to install LoversPK but only to crash when I load a save or start a new game. I uninstalled LoversPK and the game runs fine. I tried installing only the base and resource packages, and problem occurs again. The way I installed Lovers is by grabbing everything in the resource.rar and dumping it into the data folder and then grabbing everything in the base esp including the folders and throwing that in as well. So I thought since the title says only esp maybe I am only suppose to place the esp in the data and not the folders. So I tried that and the game runs, but I get a message informing the I am missing motion 9 in file 8 or something similar to that. With that message I tried some different ways at installing the base package (leaving certain folders or files out) and deduced that the problem lies in the mesh-> Characters-> _male-> idleanims-> ani2 folder. This folder contains the motion.kf files. I scanned this folder in both resource and base and noticed that they both had different motion files. I'm not sure if it is suppose to be that way or not, maybe I am just over thinking things here. I don't believe my load order has anything to do with it, as I have checked many load orders on many threads and use boss to organize my non Lovers mods. I even ran the new conflict detector in OBMM with no major esp or esm errors. If you need me to post my load order just ask. Any help will be appreciated.
gregathit Posted May 7, 2012 Posted May 7, 2012 Marckzmanz, Always extract files to a temp directory and check out the file and folder structure. Extracting things directly into your data folder is a good way to end up with: Oblivion\data\data\. Which will cause all your mods either to not be found or cause crashes. Long story short all esp/esm files and all meshes/textures/sounds/ini folders - all of these go directly into oblivion/data/ folder. Install the resources pack first and then the base package and then whichever other plugins you want to use.

[/quote'] Did you reinstall and still have the error? The reason I ask is that there was a bad base pack that was uploaded but it has been fixed (or so I thought) not too long ago that was missing some files in it.
Marckzmanz Posted May 8, 2012 Author Posted May 8, 2012 I will give it a try. Although I downloaded the base about 3 days ago. --Edit-- Downloaded lovers resource and base again. Re-installed but the problem persists.
