Crash on load

Hello,

 

I recetly did a complete re-install of the game, then started playing.

But now i have a bad surprise : since my first game session, i can't load a save anymore, and can't even create a new game.

I did not install or uninstall any mod from the time i saved the game and the time i launched it again.

 

I'm really lost as to what i can do to be able to play again.

i know the LO is heavy, but script-heavy mods aren't legion, and before i reinstalled the game it was even heavier (3 script-heavies i don't use anymore) and i played just fine.

The 2 papyrus logs are from loading the same game twice in a row.

 

i've also boosted SKSE's allocated memory to 768 (instead of default 512), and delayed papyrus activation after game load to 1500ms (default 500) hoping it would allow me to play, but nope.

try using tes5edit you will see what mod bug in your listing you can also use wyre bash to detect conflict in your listing mod

Wrye Bash doesn't pick up any critical load order malfunction, only successful overrides.

 

TES5edit tells me i have lighting issues (mods that override each other, but apart from non-constant lighting it does nothing).

My bashed patch also makes it lose its head for nothing.

In the end, i could not locate anything critical that would cause a CTD. i also didn't see any "VM is thawing" in my logs, only "game load", so i'm really confused as to why the games closes itself.

It DOES if you installed mods by WB and if they aren't properly set in load order. If there is a mod that doesn't "fit" right in load order, WB change its color from green to orange (not dangerously misplaced and doesn't affect the game) and red (dangerously misplaced and affects the game).

 

When clicking on the "trouble" mod, WB shows textual reference of the mod and says where it should be placed and what mod it is in conflict with. (This feature is available only if you installed your mods by WB).

The color code is here even when i install mods via NMM, i'll try and explore the interface a little more to see if the load order utility is usable or not. thanks for the advice anyway.

Since i've updated all my mods i have more crashes when starting a new game (via alternative live)than loading an old save which is quite strange, i think anything causes problems but i couldn't figure out what yet. My favorite atm is racemenu because the update caused several problems, but i have no clue if i can blame it for this one.

Well, i de-activated a few low-importance/interest mods that i had, and i was able to create a nex game again, and load my old save from there.
