Looks like this game has a bright modding future aside from simple reskinns. Currently 2 modding API's are in development, which enable custom events, quests, animations and stuff (or at least aims at enabling it).

Yea site is gone.. says acct suspended for me.  Most stardew mods are either really on chucklefish's own forums or nexusmods now.

I've seen a few mods arrive with potential.  When multiplayer comes out there will be a whole new wave of interest in this game.  I am trying to prepare for that. lol

Nice mod!  Yeah fucking in multiplayer would be great!  I'd love to see fucking and other playing be different forms of social bonding and make your hearts go up with other NPCs just as other social bonding interactions do.  Perhaps you could start off with going through all available dialogue, then subsequent clicks could make you play with them in various ways.  That'd be great!  Unfortunately it all would be much harder to mod and some suggest it might be impossible but I don't know.

 

Another great mod would be polygamy/polyamory.  It's annoying that I can only choose one to marry!

does anyone by any chance have a spare file for the alex sex event mod? it used to be on nexus mods but it was hidden and now i'm unable to get it again. alternatively, if someone knows how to get around the "this mod has been hidden" page so i can get it again, that would be great!

As you can see, if this is all modding has to offer then unfortunately as good as the game is, there's not much to do other than talk.

 

Much as this game seems like a good base, it seems awfully limited. Even those HRPGs would probably be better.

 

Not even gonna touch on the issue of getting or making pixel art.

 

Unfortunately, as mentioned above, those images are just mockups by a commission artist.

You could always make it into 3rd but keep the cartoonist style.
