This is insane! The game just came out!

I isn't a mod, but merely pictures - but there is grand modding potential here, I mean, there's already a mod site up:

As you can see, if this is all modding has to offer then unfortunately as good as the game is, there's not much to do other than talk.

 

Much as this game seems like a good base, it seems awfully limited. Even those HRPGs would probably be better.

 

Not even gonna touch on the issue of getting or making pixel art.

 

Unfortunately, as mentioned above, those images are just mockups by a commission artist.

The game itself cheats, actually, so modders would be able to as well. The base normal sprites are, well, spirtes, but they cheat and use additional effects to give more minor details than the pixels allow. Such as; if you watch a standing character closely, you can see their chest go fractions of a spirte-pixel out and in, as they are breathing; when you go fishing, both your arms and the pole do not even try to stay pixel-aligned; there are a few minor effects here and there that are barely pixelated at all; some things actually have smaller pixels (such as some parts the ground) than most other things.

 

So while yes, some pixel art would indeed have to be made, all poses, actions, etc, wouldn't have to be pixelated, just a posed based sprite which is itself pixelated.

I would love some adult mods for Stardew.

 

Someone has made gifs but they're not real mods. Otherwise right now there's nude skins for some female NPCs and a nude skin for the playable female

that's cool, didn't expect mod potential to be this good. Thought it was just going to be a cosmetic mod business with no real scripting

Yeah, I've seen them. They are pretty good, I just wanted to throw my hat in and say that there is a want for some more mods for it. It seems like it has potential, at least to me anyways.

It would be cool. I know not every game can have adult mods, but it would be cool to see in this game at least. The replayablity is pretty good. If we do see me ;)

hahaha, made me giggle, i used to play a shit loads of harvest moon, will definitely give this game a go when female version of this comes out.

I'm honestly surprised that something like this is on nexus. I don't know why but yeah, I would want some sex animations at least too before I start investing in mods for Stardew.

Haven't tested it myself, but I downloaded it and opened up the files and half the files are empty, so I'm 100% sure it's an April Fools joke.  :(

it's a mod but the moment you open it, the title screen says "april fools". There's just a massive file to pad out the file size

 

the creator also fessed up and revealed it. The creator knows how to draw (and has been drawing a lot of SV adult gifs) but has no idea how to code. It seems like you can use an API that is coded in C#. Doesn't seem too hard as it's a common programming language but again programming takes time.

 

Edit: Seems like the API documentation is non-existent too.

Looks like this game has a bright modding future aside from simple reskinns. Currently 2 modding API's are in development, which enable custom events, quests, animations and stuff (or at least aims at enabling it).

I tend not to post on this site, and just creepily stalk in the background reading and downloading, but I would love me some Stardew Vally lewd mods. 

 

We already got nude sprites and portraits, as well as some animal and crop replacements, that make the game more like you own slaves, or are growing cute anime as fuck monster girls. 

 

Although, I do prefer just animals. I do think there is a lot of potential of lewd mods, something like Breeding Season, but in Stardew Vally.

 

You can get the basic stuff down. Rape, Loan Sharks, Slavery, ect. Things that all games with a lewd modding seen gets. Then there also the potential for bestiality, and getting really creative with "Breeding" and "Products" besides basic sprite replacement. Sadly, am not a modder. I lack any form of skill to do so.
