Jagged water edges?

Since I'm messing with textures I may be noticing stuff I otherwise wouldn't but I don't think it was ever this bad.

water mods don't fix it same result except for better reflections, no ini edits besides FOV, using mod organizer, any ideas?

I went to the same area (The Moors of Morthal) and it looks pretty much the same to me. I'm using Real Water 2, and Tropical Skyrim, so my textures are different, but the water edges are still choppy like yours.

 

Very little effort was made to "pretty" that up, but if you look in Morthal, the water edges are much cleaner/smoother. I suspect the devs put effort in areas they knew the player would spend a lot of time (in town), but rushed the areas that had little content (the middle of Elswyer).

 

Yep. Looks like crap, and I don't think there is much you can do about it.
