CTD help - Someone with a bit of patience and generosity needed please!

So I recently re-installed Skyrim with a lot of new things ENB's ect, to begin with the game was working perfectly for about two days. I was extremely careful with installing mods and everything this time round so I could try to get a perfect modded game, only installing a few mods at a time and testing them, running things like LOOT and FNIS when needed of course, cleaning dirty edits when needed by loot or told to do so by the mod author.

 

Everything seemed perfect, then after two days of playing when I went to load up my game on the third day, I just kept getting CTD's when loading a save, no corrupt files or anything, it crashed when the screen would finish the loading screen of x random picture or w/e. Sometimes I could just load the same save 2-3 times and it would work. Having updated to the new Defeat recently seems to made things completely break.

 

So I was wondering if there is any generous person out there who could look at my long ass Papy log to see if they can make any heads or tails in the issues I am having, I'd appreciate it more then I can express on the forums. Oh I should also note that during the initial installation of everything I was even following guides on S.T.E.P to make sure everything turned out perfect so I could have a smooth no errors / bugs / ctd playthrough! Really would appreciate any help at all, thanks!

Have you tried loading your file from the in-game pause menu instead of the opening screen?

This happens to me sometimes if I have too many script-heavy mods running.

As SunAddict stated, loading from the pause menu can help with this issue. What I've done in cases like this is install the Alternative Start mod (not absolutely necessary, but helps make things easier\faster) and create a new character. Just use the default male Nord it loads up, and don't do anything to change him, but name him something that will help you to remember what he's there for. I named mine Safety. Save the game as soon as you can, like I said with alternative state it's practically instant, and let him clean up your scripts for a few seconds. You don't have to wait for it to boot up all your mods in MCM, just a few seconds is good, the hit escape and load up your main save. Works every time for me, hopefully it will help you.

 

Good luck, I know the pain of the instant CTD. ..but this has always help me avoid it. A bit of a pain to have to load up twice when you start (you only have to do it when you first start up your game, dying or just reloading a different save works just fine after the initial load) but it's better than having to start all over every time you get this CTD on load stuff.

another thing that may help is the "crash fixes" download here on LL

without it I have to load QASmoke or the LAL prison cell then the playing save, with it I can do a straight load from menu to playing save.
