calranthe Posted February 20, 2016 Posted February 20, 2016 My old computer died a painful death which had many many casualties, including graphics card, multiple ssd's and power supply, I even had to bin my case it ended up with snazzy burn marks. So this week I built a new gaming pc, it will be used purely for gaming steam/uplay/origin, (email and main browsing + writing relegated to my laptop). So what did I put together. i7 6700K (none overclocked at the moment) Asus 170 Gamer Pro board (the headaches getting the m2 recognised as a boot drive almost made me scream) 16gb DDR4 Windows 10 Professional Radeon R9 Nano (love that card) Primary drive (os + first steam folder Skyrim + Fallout) Samsung 950 pro M2 (never seen anything shift files so fast) Secondary drive SSD Intel 500gb 2nd steam folder + uplay + Origin Third drive 250gb Samsung evo 850 (Windows 7 + RPG maker / Hentai game collection + visual novel translation software) Fourth drive 4tb WD Black Edition. PSU EVGA Supernova p2 750w Case Bequiet 800 Cooler Bequiet dark rock pro 3 (amazing cooler but damn did it take so much work to get it installed) TX PC+Xbox one Wheel (American Truckers ! Yay) It is all playing nice now. I do confess the sides are not on the case and the cabling is all over the place I will shut it down after the weekend and Tidy it up, for now I am testing all my games and throwing everything I can at it.
