Guest Posted February 20, 2016 Posted February 20, 2016 Hello there Like many of you I've installed a shit ton of mods to my Skyrim making it kinda instable at times. Random CTDs happen occasionally but that's not the problem. Sometimes, usually upon loading, my game freezes. I use Windows 10 and I'm not able to close Skyrim with the Task manager then and I usually have to restart my PC when that happens, which is extremely annoying, which is why I want to know: Is there a way to terminate Skyrim with a hotkey or a combination? Thanks a lot in advance.
Loveryus Posted February 20, 2016 Posted February 20, 2016 What works and keeps you from restarting your pc: If you created a second desktop ( http://www.cnet.com/how-to/how-to-use-multiple-desktops-in-windows-10/ ), you can change to it (Win+Ctrl+Right), open the taskmanager (Ctrl+Alt+Delete) and terminate Skyrim/Fallout4. It's important that you first switch the desktop and THAN press Ctrl+Alt+Delete, cause you cant use the taskmanager on the frozen desktop.
