ZyrZylo Posted February 18, 2016 Posted February 18, 2016 install it from a different, shorter path to your skyrim.
eightballyuri Posted February 18, 2016 Author Posted February 18, 2016 how do i do that when i us nmm
DarkEther Posted February 18, 2016 Posted February 18, 2016 You can save a file to desktop or a folder on the desktop, which will make the path quite short. When you open NMM, there is a button at the top on the let side that is a + sign that allows you to add a mod from a file. Click that, then locate the file you DLed, click to open that file, and the install process will proceed.

Dinosaurus Posted February 19, 2016 Posted February 19, 2016 sometimes you can also simply shorten the file name.. So like if the file you are trying to install is called "Blah-blah-blah's Amazing Wonderful_Great + Awesomest mod in the whole WORLD that you must use - And it was made by me and my 100 friends in our_Garage_where_i_had My First Kiss back in middle school.zip" You can sometiems just change the file name to "Awesomest Mod Made in Garage.zip" or something shorter still like just "Awesomest Mod.zip" and it might help with the long name issue. That's my only suggestion if the other suggestion here didn't work.

KristyllLascivicious Posted February 19, 2016 Posted February 19, 2016 Was going to say I had this issue recently but with using MO. Solved only through some directory name and mod filename shortening.
