Sure would be nice if someone, more than likely not the original author, unfortunately, would continue this work. I'd rather see this nsfw version completed than the sfw versions. No offense intended to the authors working on the sfw versions, you're doing good work, I'd just rather have a nsfw version made. That's why I'm at a website such as loverslab, lol.

 

The original author even stated right there in the original post that you are welcome to use his drawings and animations as long as you credit him. I dare say that he wouldn't mind if someone else revived this work. Of course maybe he would mind in the event that he actually plans to finish this - but he sure doesn't act as if that's the case considering that he disappeared for 4 months straight plus his google drive assets remain untouched, as he left them when he disappeared. I don't think he's coming back.

That might be the case. At the same time, it would be weird if the work was finished and the OA came saying, "Hey everyone, I finished the work in my absence." It would have a few people scratching their heads. But for now, I'm only going to use Swf until either someone else decides or if the OA decides to come back. But, might be a long stretch on the road ahead since people are holding off modding for the most part.

Look at his account profile. He hasn't been online since March 17, 2016, which is roughly four months and 4 days ago. I don't know about you but when I work on a publicly released beta/wip mod I log on frequently to check the hype/requests/post new info. I'm quite convinced that if he was actively involved in this mod that he would be eager to communicate with us to share every bit of work completed and get ideas/feedback from us.

 

4 months & 4 days (120+ days total) and he's still gone. That's a very long time to go without sharing progress that he would likely be eager to share if he was working on this. I dare say that he's not coming back. I hope he does, I'd be glad to see him active, but the facts seem to be completely against that likelihood. If this'll be finished it seems like it'll have to be by someone else. I can't draw worth one cent so I'm afraid I wouldn't be much help as far as continuing the work goes unfortunately.

Oh I understand. I can draw but not for a computer what so ever. Never been able to do it myself. But I do agree that you are right. Sucks. I was looking forward to this mod and for now I will utilize Ruthless's Vault Girl Perk Tree.

Welp, so we've got two options here, find a way to just wait for the autor to show signs of life or we look for someone that can draw and move on with this project. Im learning how to drawn at the moment but i don't think i can do this, not at least in the next year or so.

Yeah, he said that he was keeping it sfw for the sake of being able to find a decent job in the future. I must not have caught that. Oops, I was wrong. At the same time, at least commend him for being honest that he is releasing something others have started and disappeared on. Even if it's SFW. It sucks all the NSFW one's died, but sooner or later it will come out at some point.

If I can add my 2 cents into this... 

 

The animation takes a lot of time and having two separate personas would be very... how do you say... time consuming? So anything I make I want to be able to show to general public. I want to be proud of what I do.

I know people from my profession... I asked... not too found of that. Even mine is kinda behind the line.

Or maybe they are just too old! You know, old fashioned, idk... :P

The other reason is... I just don't want to do porn on regular basis. I don't want to disappoint people who would expect that genre from me at all times. :(

 

Now, I would love the NSFW version of this.

Id like to think that isnt true.

NSFW is always on my mind. But, that's who I am. My mind broke the gutter off the house years ago. So now I am left with who I am now. Back on topic. Ruthless did a excellent job with his work.

Yea, same here. My mind works only with 100% ol' fashioned NSFW. But yea, so we just wait, maybe someone will move on with this. I just didn't want to wait forever.
