3D Max crash

hi to all.

i recently have so much problems with 3D max i don't now why when i import one nif into the program this crash i don't now if is a nif plugin make this crashes or is the program.

if anybody can tell me one solution for this i really appreciated

I have a feeling it's the BSDismemberedSkinModifer, since you crashed when clicking the Modifiers tab right?

While I don't have an answer for your question because I never used 3ds max, is that the FO4 CBBE shaped as SevenBase?

That will already come with the next version of CBBE as a slider, so no need to port it yourself.

Super buggy tho. Crashes all the time just like OP posted.

 

If you plan to actually mesh edit, the best solution that I know of so far.

 

Load in Outfit Studio. Export FBX. Open FBX in maya. Use BoneFix script from Nightasy.

Edit in maya then export as FBX to 3DS. Optional edit in 3DS then export as OBJ back to maya. If you do anything that changes geometry you'll need to use the nif plugin to "fix it". Has to do with texture borders according to Nightasy's tutoria videos. In any case export to nif, re-import nif. Then export as OBJ back to Maya. Do bone processing and abWeightlifter to paint it. Or do it manually (ugh). Re-export as FBX back to Outfit Studio.

 

Load back in Outfit Studio, save nif.

 

I highly recommend watching Nightasy's tutorial series. Some parts may not apply as you may have the pre-requisites installed. Check it out anyway though.

no this body is my template for make armors i use the sevenbase preset but my outfit studio crash as well i don't now why
