Kamen Rider Kuuga Posted February 8, 2016 Posted February 8, 2016 They just introduced a new update that added more pay to win nonsense. Seems normal, you say... except that, at least in the Steam version, they also left in a debug menu that allows you to get, for free, gold that you have to pay money for. The update went live four hours ago and they have yet to address it, even though knowledge of this has spread and now everybody is getting hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of gold for free. I'm just waiting to see how hard the fall out is going to be, and if these people will have the balls to try and charge people for all of this stuff.
Ventus2111 Posted February 9, 2016 Posted February 9, 2016 They patched it out. No announcement for Steam. I didn't get any warning or something from them or Steam for using the debug menu. So I guess they patched it out and they will just act like it never happened.
Kamen Rider Kuuga Posted February 9, 2016 Author Posted February 9, 2016 Of course they won't mention it, because then they would also have to admit to never doing any QA testing on the original 3.0 patch, which was crashing on virtually every mobile device and causing horrible graphical glitches on the Steam version. Somebody got fired yesterday, I can promise you.
maplesyrupghost Posted February 13, 2016 Posted February 13, 2016 That update also killed it in another way. It has introduced the 100% CPU bug. (any unity 5.2 or higher game, yes 1000's of games, have a bug where the cpu will spike to 100% on all cores on systems with a certain number of cores) http://forum.unity3d.com/threads/unity-games-consume-100-cpu-on-many-titles.380442/ was running perfectly fine on feb 1/2016 http://i.imgur.com/axWnNfB.jpgliterally unplayable feb 8/2016 http://i.imgur.com/3yVJ1B1.png
