NazWeed Posted February 3, 2016 Posted February 3, 2016 It all happened ever since I installed an ENB. Even with the ENB uninstalled it still crashes. Why is that? I'm certain it has to do with the ENB, and not my .esp/.esm files.

Guest Posted February 4, 2016 Posted February 4, 2016 Not sure if it's your case, but I had a similar issue on NV a couple of times, after ENB installation. I don't know exactly what caused it, I checked the cache with Steam which downloaded something and solved it - I suspect something involving shaders

CoxcombCornking Posted February 6, 2016 Posted February 6, 2016 The ENB would have modified the Fallout pref INI file; but, removing the ENB won't change it back. You might need to delete the existing one and then relaunch the game (from the game exe, not nvse) to have a new one created. Does this sound right to anyone else?  Please correct me if not.

CoxcombCornking Posted February 7, 2016 Posted February 7, 2016 Did you try my suggestion? If it still crashes, use the tried and true method of starting without ANY mods (base game and dlcs only), and add mods one or a few at a time, until you spot the issue again. When finished, run FO3edit to make a custom merge patch. Also: Have you run the LOOT program on your load list, or at least BOSS?  That helps resolve boo-boos sometimes too. These programs, and the instructions for using them, are discussed a number of times on this site.
