Asian languages have different types of characters. Japanese borrows some characters from Chinese. 3dmgame is a Chinese forum site. Being Chinese myself, you can see why it insults me.

Seems to me it was a honest mistake, it can all look a little the same to people who are not familiar with the languages.

But it still insults me that people would group languages together. I mean, would you like it if your nationality or language was group with another one because you looked the same or sounded the same? I wouldn't. But back on topic, what would you like to know about this mod?

Sorry, I think you missed my Sarcasm, I don't really care myself, it happens all the time for any language, I don't see the point getting insulted about being mistaken for American or English. For many of us all we see on our screen is a bunch of squares & circle things anyway, it doesn't necessarily resemble Chinese, Korean or Japanese. I wouldn't be suprised if the average Asian couldn't pick the difference between Ukranian & Croation, Dwarven & Elven or Romulan & Klingon text either
Azuredragoon Posted May 3, 2012 Posted May 3, 2012 See, Chinese/Korean and Korean/Japanese I can understand, but China and Japan use a lot of the same characters - What Japan calls "Kanji" I'm not sure what they are called in China. The primary different between them when just looking at how they are written is the presence of Hiragana, and if you don't know what those are or how to look for them they're going to look very similar.

So you can differentiate them quite easy. Ignorance is a sloppy defense.
