My character can't get it up :(

I'm not sure where things went wrong. The boners used to work, now... not so much. Everything else functions perfectly, though.

 

Does anybody know which plugin controls equipping the erections? Or better yet, has anybody had this problem before? How'd it get fixed?

Have you gone to your spell book and selected the sexual exploits spell and cast it, then gone through the settings to select which cocks to use?

 

What did you install recently that resulted in your present flaccid condition (damn that sounds harsh doesn't it??? )?

Yup, I got that spell fully configured. It was working previously but I must've installed something that broke it, I guess.

 

Let's see... Well I've not installed anything that was Lovers related. CLS was installed after the "problem" showed up. I fiddled around with OBGE for a while, so my mod indexes got moved around a little as I trouble-shot the various lovely issues that mess caused, but nothing was deactivated. 2ch Lives got installed around the same time as the "problem..." Could that have something to do with it?

2chlives should not be any problem at all.

 

I don't think CLS would do this but to be honest I have not yet installed the 3rd part.

 

OBGE would not be a problem at all.

 

You could reinstall the resource pack and then the base pack for lovers and that should fix things for you since there are no obvious culprits in what you listed to look at.

Oh dear... it must be savegame related. An earlier save (much, much earlier) doesn't have the problem. Same ESPs loaded, so it must be either a bug or (more likely) a setting I screwed up somehow.

It is always best to eliminate the saved game variable as quickly as possible. Try starting a new game and see if the problem persists. If it is fine with a new game then you can try disabling all mods and loading your current save, once it loads then hit escape and make a new save and then exit oblivion. Re-enable all your mods and start oblivion and load the save you just made and see if the problem is fixed.

 

Saved games can sometimes "bug out". Sometimes they can be salvaged by cleaning them and sometimes they can't.

To clean a save game you can use Wrye or OBMM. Disable all your mods and start oblivion. Then load your latest save game (no auto or quick saves!!!), when it finishes loading then hit escape and select save and then new save. After making the new save exit oblivion.

 

You now have a clean save. What this does is clean all the old data out of your saved game.
