soldier321 Posted January 26, 2016 Posted January 26, 2016 Like to know how to make a weapon fine, etc. through console.
DaXmAn Posted January 26, 2016 Posted January 26, 2016 I think there is no such functionality/command in console.
Kastagir Posted January 26, 2016 Posted January 26, 2016 Like to know how to make a weapon fine, etc. through console. You can't. A tempering COBJ record must exist and it can only be used at the designated interactive object (i.e. blacksmith forge, workbench, etc.).

Lurdan Posted January 27, 2016 Posted January 27, 2016 If it is a single item you wish to temper and so not worth investing time and perks in smithing then there is an easy way to do it through the console, though there's a few steps to it. Also worth mentioning the mod Upgraded Weapons and Armors for Enemies which is an essential mod for me because it adds tempered items to the game without the need for grinding through a million sets of leather armour to get the smithing skill up (And means you're no longer the only person in all Skyrim capable of using a grindstone). Anyway, to temper an item through the console find the relevant grindstone or workbench for your item and make sure you have the materials for your upgrade (use the commands help "whatever ingot" and player.additem xxxx if you can't be arsed finding the materials). Make a note of what level your smiting skill is at. Use player.setav smithing 100 to set your skill level to 100 (or whatever level you feel appropriate) Use player.addperk xxxx to add any perks you need. A list of smithing perks can be found here: http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Smithing Temper your weapon or armour at the grindstone/workbench. Use player.setav smithing xx to set your skill level back to where it was. Use player.removeperk xxx to set your perks back to where they were.
