Evan555alpha Posted January 26, 2016 Posted January 26, 2016 I've recently been playing through the famed Beyond Boulder Dome mod, and quite recently I've been crashing when loading into certain exterior areas most of the time. What I've noticed, is that these crashes mostly happen before my companions have been loaded in. I have 5 companions total. Is there anything I can do to try and prevent these crashes, or at least make it so that not all my companions liad at the same time? Thanks
Guest Posted January 26, 2016 Posted January 26, 2016 how much often it crashes? if it crashes often and you can easily reproduce the issue, you could open console and click on a companion and write Disable, to disable it. Then play a while and see how it goes, if it crashes or not. Then Disable another one, then play a while, etc.etc. to narrow down if it's a specific companion that's causing troubles.
Evan555alpha Posted January 28, 2016 Author Posted January 28, 2016 Currently it's a bit sporadic, and the mod supposedly has a few unstable areas. Honestly it might just be due to my computer being an absolute pile of crap. Recently I was able to get a few hours without crashing, only to crash during combat. It seems that if I hold the console open and allow the area to load a little, it's less likely to crash.
