Removing my armor or wearing no body armor causes CTD

Sounds a lot like a skeleton issue to me.

 

Did you install a body mesh that uses HDT or TBBP? You need a special skeleton for those or it will ctd.

 

Groovtama's XPMSE extended skeleton is the one almost everyone uses, it is compatible with the *vast* majority of mods.

Well I updated and everything is working properly now
