oldbloke55 Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 whilst wandering around,as I tend to do, I met an old man named Clinton and a little girl named Charlie. I tried to speak to them incase they had a quest but all I got was a hey. are they just random scavengers or do they have a story? I wanted to tell them about sanctuary or escort them there. I was very worried for the little girl.
Kaldor Draigo Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 you do know its a game right? and the characters have no life just saying
Guest endgameaddiction Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 You mean it's a Bethesda game. Not all games have dull lifeless NPCs
Benmc20 Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 Just checked on the Fallout Wikia : random encounter w/o any actions possible.
oldbloke55 Posted January 11, 2016 Author Posted January 11, 2016 that is a shame. I thought about it after I posted my question. but their situation is alot better than some of the things I have seen during my wanderings. for example, a little shack with a skeleton sitting infront of a tv. several radios on loud. skulls arranged on shelves. a locked cage nearby. in the cage several skulless skeletons. that gave my imagination a good poke. not to mention Dunwich borers. that was some weird shit. exciting though.
Sural Argonus Posted January 11, 2016 Posted January 11, 2016 Some of the random encounters could be DLC Bait, or possible radiant quest targets in the future maybe? Possible targets for the modders left as gifts by the developers? Who knows. Maybe they were just random NPCs generated for population and nothing more.Could even be sneaky little easter eggs no one has caught.
Guest Mogie56 Posted January 11, 2016 Posted January 11, 2016 Just a random encounter with Clinton and Charlie, there seems to be around 5 different places you can encounter this pair. He spends most of his time talking to his daughter Charlie. no real interactions with the PC though.
