Game crashing when loading to Prydwen Maindeck

Hey,

 

My problem is as follows:

 

I start Shadow of Steel quest, the chopper to the Brydwen actually crashed once so I had to reload the game.. I eventually managed to get to Prydwen.

Listened to the NPC's etc the speech from the boss dude.

 

Then I when I tried to enter the stairs up to Prydwen Maindeck, loading screen goes black and stops (crashes the game). I did few reloads from the same and past save, the load once actually went to the maindeck, but crashed immediately after I moved my mouse.

 

Now If I leave prydwen to the boston airport, the game crashes there aswell.

 

Tried disabling mods via Nexus Mod Manager, no help...

 

Will try verify game cache now, hope it helps..

 

Anyone got any suggestions?

 

 

Edit: Verified cache and managed to reach the Prydwen Maindeck, everything is fine until I go near Paladin Dense the game crashes immediately after looking at him...

 

Edit2: Sorted, It was one of the ScienceScribe models that were causing the crash

I'm having the same problem,i simply cant leave The Prydwen without my game closing without a crash msg 3 seconds after,i reloaded an early save 2x already and it never sorted itself out,so could you please tell me how did you actually fix it??? What ScienceScribe model?

I am having an incredibly similar problem, only in Vault 81 instead of on the Prydwyn.

i can't even get inside the dam main hall, no crash though... just won't load... it just goes black and loads like any other place but won't stop loading

This sounds like you have installed a bad mesh.

 

It is hard to track these down BTW but assuming you installed all of your mods with Nexus Mod Manager

 

-If you uninstalled all the Mods, then we have ruled out the ESP's

 

Therefore,

 

I'm also going to assume that you did not install any mod manually that contained Meshes.

 

Next,

 

I figure chances are quite likely that you installed CBBE Bodyslide....

 

This program allows you to install Outfits that are shaped to your preferred body style preference.

 

Thing is that when you Build the Outfits, they go directly to your Meshes Folder...

 

Here's the problem,

You could uninstall all your mods in NMM, Verify your Cache....Delete the whole freaking game in STEAM window.....

 

BUT

 

You'd still have a folder full of Bodyslide Meshes waiting for when you reinstalled the game.

 

One of your Outfit Meshes was not tested before it was released to public and its a bad mesh that will crash your game everytime you enter a CELL that it is rendered in.

 

In the OP's case I think its entirely possible that one of the Female Brotherhood of Steel outfits is in fact DUH DUH dUUUUNNNN the culprit!

 

Of course I made a lot of assumptions...

I don't know what mods you installed.

Check your Fallout4\Data\Meshes folder would you.

i'll try that out, i'll go to the bridge and save at the ladder and then unistall everything..... then i'll go back inside and she if i can get inside

it was cbbe, just had to update it since nmm wasn't saying there was a new version and then i retried and it worked, i'm finally in the main hall!!! it took two months, but i'm finally inside!!!!

Alright so it looks like we all have to be on top of keeping up with Bodyslide updates...Since your post I have released some new sliders and this came up as an issue the culprit was the end users were several versions behind with their Bodyslide Program.
