Darkening Demise Posted January 5, 2016 Posted January 5, 2016 The game starts to lag a bit, things disappear, textures change tint to bright/dark/pitch black, parts of outfits go missing, CTD occurs if trying to wait, sleep, or enter another cell. This occurs when mods like standalone followers and overhauls all collide in one cell causing longer loading times for things like Sexlab to initiate any mod being used such as Submit, delaying the dialogue. High quality body textures and Apachiiskyhair are common things among my game through several mods like Deadly Wenches, Skyrim Bachelors and Bachelorettes, standalone followers, Inhabitants of Skyrim, etc. Would this be because Skyrim can't handle all this and or hardware? I'm guessing its the graphics card so hardware issue over the game itself? AMD Radeon HD 6530D graphics AMD Quad-Core A6-3620 Processor
PervyPotter Posted January 5, 2016 Posted January 5, 2016 If high textures give you lag you could try a Texture Optimizer to compress the textures http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/12801/? , if it's script lag causing the problem the only real cure is to uninstall mods that have a lot of scripts running all the time and not just when needed.
Darkening Demise Posted January 6, 2016 Author Posted January 6, 2016 Is graphics card VRAM a part of the cause?
Darkening Demise Posted January 6, 2016 Author Posted January 6, 2016 Well here's some screenshots of one of the issues. Besides framerate, lag, infinite loading screens, CTDs, freezing during Sexlab initiation, etc.
Cezul Posted January 6, 2016 Posted January 6, 2016 I get those from time to time as well, and it's a memory/RAM/CPU ( a combination of these things ) issue.Best fix for now is to tone the ENB down ( fi you have one ) and use smaller texture sizes. some 4096x4096 can pretty much rape your VRAM especially if it's applied to EVERY female in the game. You're gonna want something that's a 2048x2048.As far as script lag goes, that's also a bit unavoidable. Only options are to get rid of some mods or get a new CPU that can handle the load.Example of this being Sexlab Aroused and many mods that use it, apply scripts to many NPCs.... If you have this slapped on top of something like Dual Sheathe Redux which also slaps scripts on NPCs everywhere, you may experience some choppiness. So; some solutions...1 Disable some script heavy mods2 Use lower resolution body textures. 2a. You can in theory use a custom race like the Ningheim race, which has it's own body textures and body mesh, and instead try using the higher res texture on that character and have everyone else set to low res. Your PC may or may not handle it, but it's worth a try. 3. Disable ENBs if you have any. Personally, I use that ' I can't believe it's not ENB ' mod with the Imaginator mod with it. You can still make your game pretty and it not be very performance intensive with these two.4. Upgrade your PC's hardware/Get a new computerHopefully this helps.
