Z0mBieP00Nani Posted January 5, 2016 Posted January 5, 2016 Recently I decided to upgrade to Windows 10 (I know.. why'd I have to go and do that, right?) and up until that point, while I couldn't just tab out of the game from full screen mode I could at least get the task manager to come up through control+alt+delete and shut the game down that way. Now with Windows 10 installed, while I still can't tab out of the full screen window, I also can't use the task manager window because it appears to be covered by a piece of the game window I'm trying to close, meaning I can't see any of the options on the task manager window and I also can't drag my mouse over it or click on it, which in turn has been forcing me to restart my computer every time there is some kind of issue with the game. Is anyone else having this issue and is there a way to fix this? I'm not having this problem with any other game.
gaggedgirl123 Posted January 5, 2016 Posted January 5, 2016 I have the same thing on Windows 8.1 Before I used ENBs I would just run in fake fullscreen with another app, but since it doesn't allow you to adjust brightness, it's a bit of a pain with ENBs. Still haven't found another solution, so I just have to log out, log in again, wait for Avast to eat all my CPU for 5 minutes, then try again
pringles89 Posted January 5, 2016 Posted January 5, 2016 I think this is the mod that allowed me to use borderless window mode and alt-tab in Windows 10. which then should allow you access to close skyrim via task manager or right click from task bar to close. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/40706/?
