Darth Anubis Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 for some reason every robot  (excluding uniques ) are invisible but not the in game invisible , they don't have mesh and texture ... they are there but i can't hit them with weapons ... any idea why and how to fix ? i have turned off every single plugin and nothing      Edit: i found the reason : Craftable Custom Combat Armor -STANDALONE- NOW WITH CAMO OPTIONS

Little info on this bug to go around, far as I can tell.Though it should be noted, I have the exact same problem as Darth Anubis, but in reverse... which is to say, I've only noticed invisible uniques! Like (so far) Supervisor White from graygarden and Percy from Diamond City (the handy from the shop). Â According to this thread on the Nexus Forums (http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/3629455-invisible-robots-bug/) it's apparently a random engine bug that doesn't seem to be connected to any one mod or set of mods.

Oh, welp =/  My Codsworth was visible last time I saw him (hah, get it? pls don't hit me), the Noodle robot as well. At least for me (and up till now) it seems to only affect Mr. Handy models.  Question: Probably not that easy, but wouldn't it kind of solve the problem if we were to download retextures for the missing bots? Something I've been wondering  EDIT: What about the people in that thread that supposedly solved the bug by fiddling around with and disabling mods? I don't doubt it's an engine issue, I just wanna know if that's an option (other than start new game after new game and hope the engine gets booted correctly or something)
KainsChylde Posted January 28, 2016 Posted January 28, 2016 Well, as far as I've been able to determine, my last post was slightly misleading. It IS a mod conflict, but it isn't any one or two SPECIFIC mods. People have been correcting the problem by deactivating mods at random until their robots come back, but no two people seem to need to deactivate the same mod or two. It appears to be a keyword issue, not a specific mod problem.

KainsChylde Posted February 5, 2016 Posted February 5, 2016 I solved my issue without having to remove anything. Ironically, it was adding a couple things that fixed it. Specifically, AWCKR and Settlement Keywords. They consolidate and simplify mods by creating a community keyword resource. Throw those in, patch any weapon, armor, or settlement mods that support them, and take a nap for 4 days. Boom, your robots are back.
DenialSpiral Posted February 5, 2016 Posted February 5, 2016 I already use those, though... will try the 4-day hibernation and look for any changes (seeing as that was the go-to method for dealing with NPC "quirkiness" in Skyrim, should have imagined it'd play a part in F4 as well)
