FNIS Issue Please Advise

Greetings and salutations! I recently decided to pick Skyrim up again after taking a break for a over a year.  So I re-downloaded Mod Organizer and

gleefully began the process of modding Skyrim until at last I came to that old staple FNIS. I had some difficulties on my first attempt with the animations

not playing for SexLab and not wanting to clog up the support forums unless I had no recourse I checked there first and to my delight several other people had the same issue and better still had posted and answer: uninstall FNIS and manually install it and all animation mods. As chance would have it I needed to do a fresh install anyways due to several mods that were out of date and or generally causing problems nothing major. So I deleted my folders and performed a fresh install of Skyrim so far so good! I manually installed FNIS using the method I remembered  from the days prior to NMM ran FNIS ( as Administrator ) and it worked except for some reason the creature pack and FNIS PCEA 2 which I also installed manually were not recognized.

Scratching my head a bit I decided to check the guide on the FNIS page in case I had missed something important. I tried following the guide posted there for manual installation and I also attempted changing the order of unpacking and nearly everything else I could think of no dice. So I went to google and after wasting about 20 minutes there determined that there are an abundance of guides for installing FNIS with Mod Organizer or NMM there is no information for manual installation guides available there apparently (incorrectly) assuming no one would be a big enough idiot to need one. Well as it happens I am apparently just such an idiot. The FNIS page does mention there are multiple ways to manually install FNIS but only provides a guide for the one. I have spent far too much time on this already if anyone knows a tried and true method for the manual installation of FNIS and the creature pack and FNIS PCEA 2 that will allow the latter two to be recognised by FNIS would you please be so kind as to post a simple step by step guide here. I know it is a simple procedure and frankly I am a little embarrassed to be asking for help with something so basic but everything else has failed so here I am. I will be checking in on this topic from time to time and will update when resolved. Cheers!

Did you play Skyrim from Steam (or whatever platform your using other than MO or SKSE) at least one?

Yes I loaded the launcher and ran Skyrim from the launcher and from SKSE through Mod Organizer once each to make sure all the folders were generated thanks.

It's not the make sure all folders were generated. It's because FNIS will see the download as 'illegal' if you don't. Unless, you actually DO have an illegal copy, then you're fucked.

I have a perfectly legal copy through Steam and would not bother asking for support for a pirated copy at any rate. Thanks for the replies though.

To clarify a bit FNIS itself installs fine and seems to be working ok but it doesn't recognize either of the FNIS dependent files and still gives the warning you get for FNIS PCEA not being installed.

Well I don't really see a reason why it wouldn't work then.

When you launched FNIS, did you launch it through MO or did you double click in browser?

Did you select 'SKELETON Arm Fix'?

If need be, you could nuke Skyrims data folders or turn off all mods in MO priority queue and just turn on FNIS and a mod that requires it (Say, Halos Posers) and see if it worked?

I installed in manually and ran in as admin the first time and then I set it up to run through Mod Organizer. I selected the Skeleton Arms Fix. I am somewhat puzzled myself, I wound up deleting FNIS PCEA wondering if it might be the problem so at this very moment I cannot.

I have never had this problem before and I am wondering if it is peculiar to this newest version of FNIS. (Last version I used was either 5.5 or 5.6) I would simply uninstall it and install it through Mod Organizer and save myself the hassle but that is what was apparently causing all the animation mods to not work in the first place.

What I am really looking for is an alternate manual installation method that might work other than the one provided on the FNIS page.

Again the problem is not that FNIS won't install correctly or work so much as that it doesn't recognize the creature pack or FNIS PCEA.

Try putting the FNIS PCEA and Creature Pack inside the MO folder where FNIS is installed?

I tried putting them both in the FNIS folder. Still won't recognize them I have no idea why.

I did not install them via Mod Organizer I installed them manually and then hooked the Generate FNIS for users tool to run through MO.
