CSES: ActorB Validity is 1 error?

I've had some bugs crop up now and then but usually exiting the game and loading up again works.. however, this one wont clear, and has broken the entire sexout mod.

I am currently trying to do a quest that is part of the 'tryout' mod and is when I first noticed this issue.  (MotoRunner wouldn't do his thing after the conversation)

Any NPC I talk to, no matter what faction, gives me the dialog as usual, but then then nothing happens.  I look in the console and I see a dozen or more spams of "CSES: ActorB validity is 1".

Any ideas?  I'd rather not have to 'clean save' at this point since I'd lose a ton of progress in the sexout mods.

What sexout version are you running ? (if you're not on the latest version upgrade it)

I've tried the current stable version as well as the latest beta.  (95 and 96)

It was working fine but I was out questing for a while and somewhere along the line the mod broke.

I have tried reinstalling all the files but that didnt help.  I also delted two tokens that where in my inventory (they had been there even back when the mod was working though) and that didnt help either.

I've gone back quite a few saves and havent found one that works yet so I'm not entirely sure if it is my characters save file that is the problem.

try starting a new save and report back.

I ended up giving up and found a save from a few hours earlier that was working.  It was as I suspected, the stalker attack where the NPC wasnt visible due and the character was up on the catwalk appears to have been the issue. The closest save before that event worked.

I ended up having to turn all stalker attacks on sleep/wait off for non-humanoids.  It appears those work but the non-humanoids bug and then break the mod.

I'm having the same issue as well.

I first noticed it in Nelson where I got the message "Because you are busy, the legionary goes to Veronica instead" (or something along those lines).

Dialogue initiated animations don't work, it almost seems that my character is already flagged as "engaged". The masturbation shortcut doesn't have any effect either.

I've loaded saves from a couple of hours back and the issue is still there, I have to go really far back for this issue to disappear.

Is there a console command / other way to clear the status of the PC?

I will search around the forum in case I find it mentioned elsewhere and in the meantime if someone has any ideas, or knows the command, I would really appreciate the help so I don't have to re-play several hours of missions.

Also, I'm not sure if it's the stalker (sleep/wait) attack mod that is responsible (or solely responsible) as I've had this occur before when I didn't have that mod installed.

I think the only "trigger" to the mod breaking I've seen is when the NPC disappears during the animation (like they have left the cell), followed by the animation for the PC completing as normal.

Not sure if this helps.

A few frames after sleep/wait it seems the engine sometimes moves actors around, but if the sexout call started before this they've already passed the validation. I added a workaround to '96 beta5 to delay all calls for 1 second after sleep/wait, that should hopefully avoid this.

In theory sexout should detect the call didn't finish properly and clean itself up, although it sounds like that hasn't worked. I would need a debug log of an act that failed to say more. I'm planning to make it more robust in the future.
