Flaw Needs Attention

I think we all know that currently Fallout 4 is quite a good game, save a few parts that need to be address.  For those wishing to increase the RP value in this game I have a very simple request; the current iteration of Animal Friend is...well...USELESS.  Its a waste of a slot, not only does it do nothing useful (especially to targets in combat) but its core potential is equally destroyed by its almost negligent time that the target stays friendly.  We almost get the impression Bethesda intentionally made it worthless to encourage the lack of RP value and instead focused more on the A-typical, "fuck it and gun it," linearity that permeates all generic shooters.

 

What I am asking for is quite simple; a mod to revert the Animal Friend perk BACK to its original iteration with a twist.

Rank 1 Will allow you pacify via the usual method and even give commands

Rank 2 Animals are completely friendly to you but will not aid you in combat

Rank 3 Animals will now come to your aid but not against other animals

I always thought these "pacify" talents were "please mod me!" spots anyway.  They seem purpose-built for the upcoming sextec adult mod.

yeah while it seems the adult themed mods will benefit from it, the RP value in the game is pretty much non-existent.  This is my hope that some body will take the initiative and make a mod that makes the perk like what I stated above.  Or the Construction Kit will eventually go live and I can attempt a mod like the Skyrim One With Nature mod on my own.

I agree, I took all three of the pacification perks & have been pretty underwhelmed by their applicability, & especially by their transience. The protagonist's lines when pacifying are about the only good thing about the perk.

 

I agree with the modification, passive friendliness/assistance would be so welcome. And, as said, there are obvious & definite SexTec applications.
