Looking for a new companion

I recently ran into a bug between Ceridwyn and AFT. she was constantly losing equipment i would give her and would not go back to her default outfit (default outfit was naked) , she would also use magic on foes while i am in the way (causing us both to be defeated), also noticed it has not bee updated in years 

 

What i am looking for=

1) Companion MUST have healing compatibilities (using perkus maximus and revenge of enemies, animal tweaks, perkus      zones) I like to duel wield (don't have time to heal)

2) No Custom skeleton/body type

3) Able to paralyze enemies is a plus but not needed.

4) Must fit into skyrim so no anime please (or need to download extra eyes/hairstyles/ect, also no overwriting vanilla assets)

5) vanilla hairstyle/eye (preferred as i have a retexture of vanilla hairs/eye) or ks hairdo - hdt hair (not preferred don't want to overload hdt) no apachi hair please

6) smart enough not to cast magic at my back (spellsword type ai, smart enough to parry, find a better angle to cast magic other that directly at me)

7) MUST work with AFT

8) Cannot be Celestine already have her.

I would recommend Sofia, though she is not *entirely* compatible with AFT, I usually just use the tweak make follower spell on her and it works well enough. The outfit management and all that works though.

 

As for not having time to heal while your dual wielding, have you looked at a mod called Smart Cast? You can set up a spell like Fast Heal to go off when you have less than x% of hp but more than x% mana, or have shields or conjures or whatever else you want to go off automatically. The auto casted spells do still require mana though, so I don't consider it to be overpowered at all. You can even set up a delay on auto healing if you want to balance it more.

 

Edit: although sofia does use apachi hairs, so I guess thats out.

Smart cast ... nice and here i thought i did not need anymore mods. would it work with soul trap too ?

Smart Cast will not automatically cast targeted spells, but what it can do is create a spell ring with e.g. Soul Trap. You hotkey that item in SkyUI, then when you tap the hotkey, Soul Trap is cast on your current target.

 

If you want fully automated Soul Traps, and not via a weapon (Fiery Soul Trap, Mace of Molag Bal...) then you'll need another mod. Apocalypse has a Soul Cloak spell, which Soul Traps everyone around the caster. That does work with Smart Cast.
