00ptic Posted April 19, 2012 Posted April 19, 2012 I am assuming this is a glitch, but this is my first time playing Oblivion in a while, and first time on the PC ever and I don't remember it being like this. As shown in this image, my the player character is transparent for some reason. It's not just with this particular armor set, but it illustrates it the best. It's not transparent in the item screen, and no NPC shows up this way. Again, I don't know whether or not this is how it should be, but I'm guessing not. Any help appreciated.
gregathit Posted April 19, 2012 Posted April 19, 2012 Does your PC or the clothes/amulets/rings have any buffs to them like partial invisibility or some such because yes, this is not normal.
GSBmodders Posted April 19, 2012 Posted April 19, 2012 this sometimes happens with mods like cursed armor. I think this is covered in that thread.
00ptic Posted April 19, 2012 Author Posted April 19, 2012 I don't have Cursed or any mods that add invisibility or chameleon, and when I used the getav command for those attributes on myself, they both came up 0. But when I forced them to 0, it worked. Thanks for all the help.
gregathit Posted April 19, 2012 Posted April 19, 2012 If a console command in game fixed things and you want to find the root of the problem then I would open up the esp files for your body type and any clothes/armor/rings/amulets to see what was going on. Or you can just ignore it
Guest Donkey Posted April 19, 2012 Posted April 19, 2012 no i think it's lovers with pk setting going boink. Lovers with pk allows you set transperency for male and female character, sometimes when sex ends if you use this option the effect remains even though animation ends. Try using your lovers with pk spell and use the fix bug option and see if that resets your character back to normal. I am not sure. But you could also try hitting the tilde key ~ click on your character and type in update3d
