adrenaline Posted April 18, 2012 Posted April 18, 2012 This self-made "helmet" will turn black when the character is in the room, but sometimes the texture of it will be correct again in some of the rooms, I can't figure out why:huh:… Could anyone tell me the reason of this error? By the way, Could anyone tell me how to use "Spoiler" in the article?
GSBmodders Posted April 18, 2012 Posted April 18, 2012 step 1 open the helm up in blender look for that vcol lighting button and make sure that is not pressed step 2 if vcol lighting is not pressed, try going into edit mode and flipping your normal step 3 open nifskope and check your material values step 4 if the problem persists open the mesh up in nifskope. click on the helm obj in the window and export it as a obj. import the obj into blender, delete the material properties, textures, uv map ect and start over again to use spoiler tags type "[spoiler}insert shit " with out the quotes
GSBmodders Posted April 19, 2012 Posted April 19, 2012 another thing occured to me that could be related to this issue, be sure that you do not have multiple mats assigned to the mesh. having multiple mats will also cause this
