Newbie Needing Help FO3

Greetings all, I had an account here long ago, though I don't remember the username or password (or email), so here I am again!

 

My friend gave me the Game of the Year edition of Fallout 3 as a gift on Steam, and I went out looking for mods. So far I have everything I want for the game, except some nudity/sex mods. I'm not looking to make this an interactive porn game, so much as I am trying to make things a little more realistic. I'm not that great with modding Bethesda games, but I have so far figured things out.

 

I'm using the latest FOSE, I have FOMM, and I have installed Fellout, Fallout Wanderer's Edition, and Weapon Mod Kits, and all of their DLC compatibility patches and so on.

 

My question (finally) is this: What nudity/sex mods would you folks suggest?

The faces look stock, I just haven't played with them much, so that is fine, I may be wrong. The bodies look great, I'm just not sure where they are from, male and female.

 

I don't think a body/nudity/sex mod would conflict with any of the mods I have, but I'm not too sure. Thank for any information any of you folks can give, and my apologies for the long winded and scatterbrained questions.

Looks like the standard type 3 body to me. If you like smaller breasts you'd have to look up an old version of BABE or use the Alice body. Kendo's version of type V is smaller too.

 

Sex mods? There's that,AP: http://fallout3.nexusmods.com/mods/8570 and Sexus.

I don't like the prostitute stuff but Sexus doesn't work so well so I don't know what to tell you to go with.

Sorry, I know this is kind of a stupid place to ask, but I've never had much luck getting a solid reply on Nexus. Any info is appreciated.

That's an installer. It has various versions including the basic type 3.

 

No,that'd overwrite type 3 with type F assuming it contains the body. You could manually replace the mesh to another body and use those outfits but they won't fill out. I have some version of that mod for one specific outfit and it does come with a pair of heels (incorrectly spelled heal) that will change the body to type F regardless of your installed body. I don't remember if it's included but it seems to be from the description.

I haven't tried Sexus but Animated Prostitution doesn't really add any realism to your game if that is what you are looking for. It's more of a "click to see animated pixel-porn"-kind of mod.

 

If you are looking for gritty realism getting Fallout New Vegas would be a better choice. It has rapists assulting you, bad guys enslaving and taking advantage of you, and generally, you being a victim...

 

With Animated Prostitution what you can do is play as a pimp... I used my Megaton house as a brothel, but atleast as far as I know, that is about as far as you can go when it comes to integrating it into some kind of part of the story or realism.

Thank you both for the information. I think I will pass on sex mods for Fallout 3 and just go for nudity, I don't want to complicate things any more and if the mods available won't really help with immersion then I'm not too interested.

 

I suppose I have one final question in regards to modding Fallout 3: If I use the FOMM to install either of those last two mods I linked, will I be able to uninstall them cleanly using the FOMM should they not work as intended? I know it is possible to some extent, I'm just not very keen on the specifics.

 

I installed the mods by going into FOMM, clicking package manager, signing into Nexus from there, clicking "Add FOMod", selecting the .zips and .rars for the mods, letting it extract them and finally I activated them. Seeing as how it all works, I assume what I did was correct. I know I can deactivate mods, but how would I remove them? Simply remove the files stored on the C:// drive in the Games folder as FOMM created?

Double click on them under package manager to remove them.
