Parallax

I just recently found out about parallax textures. Do many people use the parallax mods? Is there a comprehensive mod that provides parallax textures?

 

There seems to be a bewildering array of different mods out there, I'm not even sure where to start.

there a whole texture pack that has it but it does eat more ram than normal.

I'm trying out Tamriel Reloaded HD, and it looks amazing. But my hardware can only run at a reasonable frame rate with the 1k version. I can only imagine what the 4k is like....

with parallax u gonna havve to decide on fps or looks.

if u dont have a 2gb card andd 8+ gig ram i wouoldnt bother even with it as u probally gonna have to low fps in some areaas.

 

check the guy who did the reloaded hd also made a older pack thats not hd its less ram intensive and  smaller but sstill looks good,

Yeah, I have a 2gb card and 16gb of RAM. From what I've read though, it seems like processor speed is a limiting factor with parallax textures. I guess ENB does a lot of the work using the CPU rather than the GPU.

if u get low fps or studdering with that one then dont think u could use one with parallax. also ones with parallax always have to have a esp so its do or die as removeing can leave to permenat blue textures in the save even when u reinstall.
