Load Order Questions

ok ive got a lot of loverslab mods on right now but almost none of them agree with one another when it comes to masters and load order in wrye bash. one will want zaz then sexlab and 2 others want it the other way round. im not really sure which to choose and either way I go I cant seem to get all my mods green in the menu. I believe I was able to fix this awhile back by doing something with the masters I think in tes5edit.

 

not totally sure what to do now beyond asking the community. ive got about a dozen mods all from loverslab that are reporting masters out of order. to be fair I probably got another dozen or two loverslab mods that are in order and if I move stuff to satisfy the mods that are reporting masters outa order it throws the other ones outa order.

 

 

the only major signs ive seen of conflict is a few CTD's especially on loading up a save and yeah I got that memory patch thing for SKSE. other then that during some sex scenes the victim will do their animation but the aggressor will just stand there. since that struck me as a FNIS problem I clean installed MO, Skyrim, and the whole mod list from scratch 3 times now just to be certain I was following the installation guides to the letter for all the mods. 

 

dun see a button for one of those clickable spoiler things in the post, so ill avoid pasting my mod list till I figure out how to make one of those.

That issue have I seen to whit Wrye since it reads what order it is in the plugin/mod.

You should use LOOT to sort your load order.

 

You did not tell if you using MO/NMM or do you install whit Wrye?

 

I have wrestled whit it and found out that it often works whit LOOT and fine tune it after whit MO/Wrye.

It is all about priority and overwrite. I think other can explain that better then me.

All depends on what masters you have. Some do actually need to have one other master before, but in those cases will Wrye tell you that when you make the patch.

sorry I was just trying to get some basic info in there without throwing yall a giant block o' text. I use MO. I like my data folder clean :D

 

I normally run loot, followed by cleaning any applicable dirty plugins with tes5edit followed by running wrye bash to get the load order "stable". once everything is in line I dnot have to bother with it for awhile but since I cant figure out all these contrary master list on the mods im at a loss what to do.

 

on a side note and not my main issue but does anyone use selene kate? do you have issues where she NEVER lines up in any sexlab scene? im guessing its some kinda issue with her dimentions higher/width or need to somehow convert w/e skeleton shes using to the xp32 one im using (not sure how to do that btw).

I have read it and also contributed to it.

About the masters I think I did say that in my first post.

 

What you can do is open up one mod whit TSVE and check what it needs to run.

In Wrye you can often see that some mod do want heartfire before Dawnguard. That part is one error in CK those error should you ignore.

What is important is the orange boxes in Wrye when it says that plugins, are in wrong order.

 

One thing dont clean your plugins, some of the plugins should you not clean, since in some cases the modder need to add some strange stuff to the mod.

Clean only your masters. For the start.

hmmmm got it clean only the masters. its been so long I no longer remember the functions of tes5edit other then vague memories of cleaning dirty plugins, and resorting masters.

 

as for the wrye bash issues all of them are orange boxes that claim the masters are out of order. from my experience that will sooner or later cause a problem if it isn't addressed. id rather do the work now then try doing it later down the line where I may have forgotten all the functions of wryebash or w/e I need to fix it.

 

one good example is the device devices trio. there is assets, integrations, and expansion. expansion wants the following 7 mods in order. skyrim, update, sexlab, sexlabarousal, dd-assets, zaz animation, dd integration.

 

dd integration however wants the order as: skyrim, update, sexlab, dd-assets, zaz animation, and sexlabarousal. the problem becomes which one is right? they both want the same mods. but integration wants arousal placed 6th bellow zaz and assets, and expansion wants it above those two mods. i could try to use some common sense and say well maybe since expansion came out most recently then maybe i should just go with that one since i know the chronology but i don't know the chronology between devious cursed loot and prison overhaul or the other mods that's don't follow a linear release from the same author like the devious device mods.

Yes some of the master out of order can make issues.

But there it come in, the part of learning about what do need to overwrite and not.

And I still need to point to the tread i give you ;P

 

The more mods you plugin to your skyrim the more importent is the load order and the priority.

I did try DD for some time ago and did not like it, so I have not used it since that.

 

I hope some other can put some more light here.

 

But you should load Arousal after Sexlab, Zaz should be after Sexlab.

And what I did say before, some modders dont fix the issue that CK do. I blame them for that.

I know that some mods do want zaz to be before sexlab.

I managed to figure it out. the issue was something I had to address in TES5Edit. it just took me a night of thinking on it trying to remember how to do it before I could attempt it. tes5 can really jack up ur mods if u hit something wrong.

 

had to "sort masters" after "applying filter for cleaning" same process for actually cleaning a dirty plugin but you sort the masters to confirm that they way they are is the way they should be.
