Unknown_User Posted November 1, 2015 Posted November 1, 2015 I want to use some other mods, but before I install them, I always look at forum posts. Most of them says "CTD" "won't work" "buggy"...... that stop me from install these mods. So, how can I filter "not-updated-since-2014" "abandoned" "not work anymore" mods from "Downloads" section? --- My current installed mods(all latest version): SL.esm, SOS, SL Aroused Creature, SL Eager NPC, SL Defeat, SL Aroused Redux PC is female.
Gagoloth Posted November 1, 2015 Posted November 1, 2015 Well first all mods are or can be buggy at times. 80% of the time CTD are related to having mods that are either incompatible with each other or completely outdated (i'm talking YEARS.) There are a number of mods on the LL that haven't been updated since 2014 and yes that's over a year ago. But by no means does the age of a mod automatically make it useless, broken or not working. There are plenty of mods that either still work or have patches in the comment section. If a mod is old always read the last couple of pages of the comment section. Just because a single person is getting CTD doesn't automatically mean you will to. Always check for dependency and incompatibility's on the mod page of whatever your looking at. P.S Almost everything on the LL has sexlab listed at a dependency so here is a list of mods compatible with sexlab 1.6.
darkconsole Posted November 1, 2015 Posted November 1, 2015 i only get mods off the recently updated. downloads > section of choice > sort by date. i do that because i prefer there to be someone around for me to submit bug fixes to.
