XunAmarox Posted October 30, 2015 Posted October 30, 2015 I seem to recall that when I got crippled there would be a little injured vault boy up at the top right of my screen but it isn't there. Is there some sort of setting I have to have so that it shows up, or does a mod make it appear, or what?
Guest endgameaddiction Posted October 31, 2015 Posted October 31, 2015 The vault boy HUD should appear when you do get crippled. You may have some mod conflict with some HUD if you are using. Have you tried just starting Fallout 3 with no mods and see if that works?

Have you tried just starting Fallout 3 with no mods and see if that works? If it's a HUD edit I don't imagine that would work since those don't use esp/esm files. I didn't even have a menus folder until after I installed Darnified UI a few days ago and the problem existed before then, so I don't think that's it. Is it only supposed to flash on the screen for like one second then disappear, or is it supposed to stay there?
Guest endgameaddiction Posted October 31, 2015 Posted October 31, 2015 It flashes for a bit then disappears. It will flash the body part that is crippled.
XunAmarox Posted October 31, 2015 Author Posted October 31, 2015 Ah, I guess it's working as intended then. I don't suppose there are any mods that keep it there until you heal the injury?
Guest endgameaddiction Posted October 31, 2015 Posted October 31, 2015 No, not that I know of. I just know of a mod that changes the the vault boy to a female anime one. I don't remember if this mod changes the vault boy to an anime girl if your interested. There's also this one. Again, not sure if it changes the one on HUD. Just thought I'd point those out if your interested. I don't play Fallout no more so I never tested the second one. And since it's been so long I can't really remember if the one in the first link does have it for HUD as well.
XunAmarox Posted October 31, 2015 Author Posted October 31, 2015 Yeah, I've tried that first one and I use the second one.
