Just looking for some help with my mod installation order! I tried to install mods earlier with NMM, but I think I installed them in incorrect order, so some overwrite other mods which shouldn't have.

I only used NMM in the past, and it seemed that Installation Order was important, because I got notifications to overwrite files. I think I messed that part up. Does the same thing happen with MO?

I do plan to use LOOT once I have all mods installed into MO. Is that all it will take? Is this too many mods to use right off the bat of a new game?

And then I will run the game with SKSE.

Sorry for being a complete noob! And Thank for the help!

MO has LOOT inside it.. Use it when you install your mods and for the most part you will be at least 99.99% there. (Right side). The left side is easier. Just keep in mind what mods are to overwrite others (like you realized later with NMM) and move them to that location. Just don't do it on a major Profile as it might mess up the saves.. Best to do it on a "Test" profile. Then find out your perfect load out left and right and you should be fine. The left side (where mods are installed and activated at) even has a experimental LOOT function for those few occasions where there might be serious problems. Take those suggestions under serious consideration and only ignore them if you know you are right.

There is a MO thread for this. Link in my sig. Go there and introduce yourself and ask those MO questions there. There is a mountain of info there and loads of people visit that thread regularly that know MO very well. ( and Skyrim as well)
