I got the blck body bug. -Bodytextures turning black after like 10 minutes ingame- I already googled a lot and the main suspect should be a lack of VRAM. This bug drives me pretty crazy, beacause it took me about a week to get this skyrimbuilt running properly. So there are my questions, before i nuke my skyrim again -.-.-.-.-.-.-.-. First off my graphics card is an gtx 960 with 4GB of VRAM(GDDR5) + 8GB DDR3 Ram. So it makes it hard for me to believe this could be the only reason. Furthermore the bug dosent apply to all characters. It just happens to the player and common skyrim female npcs. My Followers and males are excluded. So further suspects could be cbbe, SG female textures, 7BTbbp in use with PSQ. I read somewhere that this could be a problem with "normal Maps". I used Fitness blender onto sg female textures, witch didn't do anything(it work'd on FSC). So i guess this could be a problem, but i have no idea how to unblend that shit. At last i'am running an Performance ENB (Unbleak) and still getting constant 60 FPS. I didn't try to start it without enb, beacause i just dont know how to. plugins.txt attached (Darkerdungeons and ELFX are not loaded) Do you guys have any suggestions for fixing this, or to soo where the mistake is. freddark Posted October 27, 2015 Posted October 27, 2015 I used to have the same issue with some followers having large body textures files sizes but once I compressed those files the problem never came back. The fact that your character and the vanilla females turning black may mean your default body textures are very large. An uncompressed set can be in the region of 150-200mbs and if you have 10 female npcs in one place that is a lot. May I suggest backing up your default body textures and try compressing them and see if the problem persists.
Shadowscale Posted October 28, 2015 Posted October 28, 2015 Black bodies mean your running out of VRam. You'll want to condense the textures to fix it.
