A question about skin textures

The thing is i've been messing around with different skin textures and recently i just checked out real girls, I've i had those texture in my NMM for awhile but never really used them since i use mature skin. So i decided to test them out and i noticed that i really like the eyes but not the mouth.

So what i was  wondering is if theres a way i could merge skin textures for example using the mature skin as a basis then taking the eye from real girls and putting it in to Mature skin keeping the rest. I know this involves the dds. files but and several programs. just wanted to know if its possible before attempting or if something like it is already out there.

Thanks!

The interior of the eyes (the pupils) have their own texture.

The part around the eyes if a mix of the face-body texture and the tint mask used by the NPC/Player.

Replacing just the eyes texture it is quite easy.

So it can be done. Thanks you so much for the fast response. So just wondering what programs would i need to use to do this and if possible are there any guide out there explaining what to do?

You don't need any particular program.

Just unzip the file of Real girl (if it is a BSA, then you need a tool to extract BSA files).

Grab the dds for the eyes. (A way to preview a DDS may help, but the eye DDS all start with eye*.dds

unzip the "Mature skin" file (again if it is a BSA you need a tool like BSAOpt to unpack), replace the DDS for the eyes, zip it again and use it (no need to re-create a BSA file.)
