Help (Request) for Creatures

I run mods using MO, I run various SexLab and supported mods (non-Devious).

Up until the other day creature animations worked just fine.  I experienced a "WTF?" -moment in Defeat (mod) when I was defeated by a random attack of, well basically, 'a swarm' of critters (low-level non-Mage, with a few Shouts).

There were no genitalia.

They show their junk (non-aroused), but, there was nothing there during sex.  Just the static, non-aroused, form.  Animations work perfectly, as I toyed around with various creatures afterward before resorting to asking for help.

I've worked with the load orders, read several pages here (L.L.), and still am stumped.

I run quite a few mods but it was all fine (as I said) until maybe a week-ago?

Any suggestions (please and Thank You)?

  • check to be sure you didn't accidently unclick a creature mod ;)
  • If you have a previous backup try those first. You should have a backup (load order left / right side ) for your working profiles.
  • check and make sure you have all the mods required. Perhaps one was accidentally deleted, or even got corrupted.
  • If that don't work then create a new profile from the one that is having the issue, name it Profile-test (where profile is the name of the current troublesome profile ;).
  • Look over your Sexlab mods. There are conflicts. Check the conflicts in the tab and you should see some that effect the textures/meshes of creatures. (file names etc)
  • Move the mods that you conflict with that also have creatures to lower (or the lowest part) of Mo at least below all other sexout/creature mods.
  • Test, Move some more and test. Keep doing this.
  • If you can't find the files that might be conflicting. Open the mod in explorer through MO. Look through those files manually. Find the creature files and then look through Mo again.

This is based on the fact that you state that the mod work perfectly before. You must have made some un-intened changes.

Hopefully someone could chime in on what files path hold these creature files so that you can be sure that you have those in proper order or an unclicked /deleted mod.

A little testing has led to a solution (?), still needs further testing...  I rearranged 2 mods, then I went in (in-game menu) under Creature Framework RC 12, and under CLEANING, 'removed the creature spell from all active creatures', then 'Re-Registered' the Creatures.

Seems to have worked?  I'll test it more later.

Thank you again.

~ EDIT ~

I'm going to call this "SOLVED" as I managed to restore functionality by cleaning the lists via the in-game MCM tools.
