ryanimay Posted October 20, 2015 Posted October 20, 2015 Hey all, i would like to share about a strange problem im experiencing with "RealENB". (im guessing its the ENB, but i dont know at all) Although the game is running smooth and i dont have any problems with the ENB, sometimes when i load basically anywhere in the world ( i.e. a town or a indoor cell or in skyrim) i got the feeling that the ENB is "some sort of crashing" and the black color is split into many black dots all over the screen. Did someone else have experienced the same problem before and can anyone help me solve this, cause the only way to fix it is by qutting to desktop and then loading back which is pretty annoying process when i have to do it every 15 mins or so. RedMonika Posted October 20, 2015 Posted October 20, 2015 Wow.. that is strange. I'm sorry I've never seen this before. If you bring up the ENB menu and disable it does it clear it up? Or does this happen when it crashes? Are you using the right ENB binary version? Your vid drivers updated?

Like open it ingame or? Never knew such command even exists. - How to check if im using the ENB binary version? Also i've updated my video drivers 1 week ago with the latest nvidia geforce drivers but i have this problem for a long time so i guess its not the drivers Thank you for your reply, hope to hear from you soon!

In game you can hit Shift+Enter to bring up the ENB menu in game. There's an option to disable the ENB effect. You can also just remove the d3d9.dll file from your game folder. ENB's require a specific ENB binary version. Real needs to have 279 as of July. So, if you're using the recent updated version of the ENB and are using an older version of a binary it may produce unwanted affects. You can right click on the d3d9.dll click properties and look at the product version under details.

Also the version of the d3d9.dll is exactly the same - 279 so i'm stuck at the moment.

I have seen rendering issues similar to that with overheating cards, or unstable overclocks. If it happens relatively soon after starting to play, and turning ENB off does not change anything then that may be a possibility. Are you using any other memory "patches" other than SKSE and ENB? I had a rendering issue with HDT memory patch and the latest ENB binary files that would screw up my game. I forgot I had that patch from a while ago... But yeah. Though with the way your game looks I don't think it's a memory corruption issue caused by conflicting memory patches, but I was throwing that out there just in case because you never know. I can't think of anything else at the moment but I thought I would at least throw a couple things out there to look for.

So i haven't checked about my video card overheating. As far as i know the PC came with fabrically overcloaked video card and i havent checked any other ways to overcloak it more. I dont think it is overheating, because a two years ago i had skyrim with the same amount of mods installed on the same PC config, but with a different ENB and i've never had such problem bach then. Recently i've decided to install windows 10 and had to reinstall most of my games including skyrim but with different ENB this time because i got tired of the previous one. That "crash" is totally random tbh, sometimes it happens after my first cell switch after i start the game and other times it happens after a few hours of play. Btw that "crash of the ENB" does not freeze my game or lowering my fps, It just covers my screen with black dots. Also i think it is worth mentioning that when i alt+tab then back to the game the problem is gone. About those "memory patches" i've no idea what you're talking about I think i've never installed such patches tho Can you give me some info or links to them so i can check them out, please?
