cain40 Posted October 18, 2015 Posted October 18, 2015 I'm really, really, burning my brain cells over this but I can't find a solution, I've been modding my skyrim since it's release in 2011 and never have I had this much of a problem, the game suddenly CTDs every 10 or 15 minutes of play, and I can't seem to find any clue of it in the logs, It could be an out of memory issue, but that's unlikely, I'm certain that my PC can run this game just fine, it could also be a mod conflict, but I ran LOOT and created a Bashed Patch countless times, not to mention I checked the mod's pages in search of any warnings, I couldn't find anything. So I'm posting this here, as I believe SexLab is one of the reasons my game is crashing. Why? Because I tried running Skyrim without any mods but SL and its requirements, and I still got a CTD, hopefully someone more well versed in modding than me could give me a clue. I'll post my load order as well as my last log. It should also be noted that sometimes, just sometimes, some of the NPCs have their face textures "wrong", as in, it mismatches the body's texture color, often the face looks like a more pale version of the body's color, but that only happens to 1 out of 20 NPCs, as far as I know, unless the game crashes before I get to see one of them. Also some Creature animations simply don't work, like the spider animations and 1, maybe 2, dog animations for example, while others work just fine, even after re-registering mods through Creature Framework and SL in the MCM. It really is driving me nuts, I hope someone manages to help me here. EDIT1: Another issue is starting to appear, where the screen freezes randomly as I'm about to cast a spell, this feels like it's memory related, even though I have 8gb RAM and 2GB VRAM, I'll disable my graphic mods and try a new save. applepie123 Posted October 19, 2015 Posted October 19, 2015 Did you make sure to run FNIS when you install new animation mods?
cain40 Posted October 19, 2015 Author Posted October 19, 2015 Did you make sure to run FNIS when you install new animation mods? Yes I have, Bashed Patch, LOOT, FNIS, ASIS patcher, you name it.
Robert_jj Posted October 19, 2015 Posted October 19, 2015 Wow you have quite an arrangement of problems gathered there Okay so first i feel like there are multiple culpirts involved. You do have a lot of mods (as a good skyrim modder should have) so my first question would be: Are these problems occuring on a save-file or on a new start aswell? Are you using MO or NMM? If NMM, have you deleted mods in a different order than you have installed them? the game suddenly CTDs every 10 or 15 minutes of play Ah, the best kind of crashes. Maybe we can figure out the other problems fisrt and work our way to that. created a Bashed Patch countless times I noticed your batched patch is not last in your load order. That's a good point to start. That being said i don't know if ASIS has to be loaded last since i don't use this mod. it mismatches the body's texture color, often the face looks like a more pale version of the body's color Thats usually caused by mods overwriting each other. For example whe you use a body texture replacer and then a different face texture mod like "Pretty Face" or "Adorable Face". But then it shouldn't be happening to some but rather to all. Can you provide a screenshot? Also some Creature animations simply don't work, like the spider animations and 1, maybe 2, dog animations for example, while others work just fine, even after re-registering mods through Creature Framework and SL in the MCM. Have you tried reinstalling XPMSE and run FNIS again? Not sure how much this will help but i don't think the problem is on SL's side. Just my 2 cents tough. Another issue is starting to appear, where the screen freezes randomly as I'm about to cast a spell, this feels like it's memory related, even though I have 8gb RAM and 2GB VRAM, I'll disable my graphic mods and try a new save. How is that going? Is it fixed? I have seen none in your loadorder but maybe im blind, do you have any mods that alter/add spells? Kind of feels like a lag caused by heavy load. In addition i see you have SFO and supreme fog plus some minor grraphic mods so you could try disabling them for testing reasons, as they can be pretty darn taxing on your system, especially footprints.esp uses scipts ( I don't know how heavy but it's quite a bit).

It starts on both new saves and old ones, sometimes it crashes when I load an old save, but just sometimes, I use MO to keep my skyrim folders clean. About the Bashed Patch, It needs to be placed just above ASIS for it to function properly. About the face texture issue, I'll provide a screenshot as soon as I find an NPC like that, they've been appearing much less lately. I reinstalled everything related to creatures and it seems the problem persists, this really never happened to me before, MNC always worked fine. And about the freezes, they stopped, I just had to disable footprints as it was bloating my saves, and the grass mod because it was conflicting with SFO, I kept everything else since the freezing stopped. One more thing I noticed, is that in the logs I made after making the first post, Papyrus always seems to be repeating the same script line over and over before the game CTDs, check it out. Robert_jj Posted October 20, 2015 Posted October 20, 2015 I don' know much about papyrus im sure there are people that can help you with that a lot better than me. The only thing i really can pull out of the repeating lines is the object "0006481C" which is to my knowledge a troll-spawnpint(?) and this: aaUCStaggerScript.OnHit. Like i said i have no experience with papyrus since it never helped my with any issue but i think a stagger script would be something from a combat overhaul mod (?).
DUBALADO Posted October 20, 2015 Posted October 20, 2015 Try removing CharacterMakingExtender.esp and EnhancedCharacterEdit.esp...

I'll try doing that, but I'm not sure if it's going to help Try removing CharacterMakingExtender.esp and EnhancedCharacterEdit.esp... Still crashes yo EDIT: Screenshot uploaded, something is replacing the SG face textures when it shouldn't, there's nothing overwritting SG's in my mod list, even MO tells me so. EDIT2: More problems are sowing up, I think my Skyrim is imploding, I'm tempted to reinstall and start all over. Sometimes it says Creature Framework API is not found, but that can be temporarily solved by running LOOT before launching the game, it comes back after a few hours tho.
cain40 Posted October 23, 2015 Author Posted October 23, 2015 I reinstalled Skyrim and have only sexlab, MNC, aroused, aroused creatures, defeat, and the "waifu" mods on. The crashing persists... The last few lines are something like this: [10/22/2015 - 09:59:42PM] [CF][Creature] Not equipping normal armour on ["draugr" [masterambushscript < (00078E0C)>]]; there is no normal armour
