Hair gone (bald) with some races (Adiposian)

I've been having some problems with people going bald after teleporting with races that stay nude most of the time.

 

My main problem for now is with the Adiposian race.

I have Helgen Reborn installed so that's where I start, I go right out of the race menu and everything looks perfectly fine (with any type of hair, it doesn't seem to matter if it's standard hair, Apache, whatever) but as soon as I talk to the statue and teleport to a town the character is as bald.

 

Since you seem to get some headgear once you teleport there and this race seems to be nude by default I figured that might be the issue and I tried taking it off but that doesn't seem to help.

The character stays bald.

 

I tried loading a different race, one that isn't always nude, and there seems to be no problem.

 

Anyone any idea how to fix it?

 

I'm not really a hero with nifscope (never used it tbh) so if that's needed please explain a bit hehe.

Did you try "showracemenu" to re-apply the hair? doesn't it appear even then?

 

Also try hemet toggle , maybe it'll make the headgear disappear

You may have to find the armor in place inside Markarth.  That armor is specific for the Adiposian.  I think the reason why the race comes out looking nude is because the default armor isn't compatible with the custom race.  Interesting enough, you mentioned that when you take off the hat your player is still bald.  I wonder if this has happened to anyone else.  Have you tried putting on the Adiposian armor?  Also like Zerosleepless mention, try popping back into the race menu to see if that helps.

 

If you are still having issues, post in the Support Topic for my mod.  I usually just check My Content and would of never seen this if I wasn't just surfing around randomly on LL today.
